VALENTINO.Master of couture.

Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani, best known as Valentino, is an Italian fashion designer.I visited this great exhibition, which celebrates the life and work of Valentino with over 130 exquisite couture designs worn by icons like Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren and Gwyneth Paltrow in an installation at Somerset House .
The exhibition is divided into three sections, the beginning Valentino worldview through photographs from his personal archive, which offers an intimate portrait of the master's life, then displays a fashion couture where you walk on a catwalk to see the figure of one hundred thirty Valentino couture designs. Valentino: Master of Couture is a journey into the secret and wonderful world of Italian couture.

Best British designer.

Britain has created a strong voice for itself on the international fashion scene thanks to its own breed of British-born fashion designers, who have all garnered a strong following through their unique creativity, first-class tailoring skills and quintessential British quirkiness.

CHRISTOPHER BAILEY

Christopher Bailey, Chief Creative Officer of Burberry, and responsible for the company’s overall image including all advertising, corporate art direction, store design and visuals as well as the design of all Burberry collections and product lines.
Bailey, was born in Yorkshire, the son of a carpenter and a window dresser for Marks and Spencer. He graduated from the Royal College of Art with a Masters degree in 1994 and later received an honorary fellowship from the College in 2004. From 1994 to 1996 he was the Womenswear Designer at Donna Karan and Senior Designer of Womenswear at Gucci in Milan from 1996 to 2001. While in Milan, he met and began dating Geert Cloet, brand designer for Miu Miu. He split his time between his home in Milan and England. He joined Burberry in May 2001 as creative director and became chief creative director in November 2009. Bailey is credited with transforming the fortunes of the company.

 PAUL SMITH

Sir Paul Smith, born July 5, 1946, is an English fashion designer, whose business and reputation is based on its menswear. He is both commercially successful and highly respected within the fashion industry.
Smith was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000, after nearly three decades as a menswear icon. His collections of clothing and accessories for men and women are usually identified by the presence of Smith Multistripe signature somewhere on each item.
His quirky collections combine classic British tailoring with vibrant colours and prints, including his signature multi-coloured stripes.

STELLA MCCARTNEY

Stella McCartney may have a famous rock star for a father but her successful career is all down to her finely honed design skills. Born in 1971, she graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1995 and was made creative director at Chloe from 1997 until 2001 when she launched her namesake line. She is renowned for her simple, understated tailoring with a feminine touch and her thoughtful approach to design (she is a strong advocate of animal rights and refuses to use leather or fur in her designs). She also designed the official Team GB kit for the Olympics 2012.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN

Alexander McQueen was born in the East End of London. He left school at 16, and since childhood had started to design clothes for his three sisters and already had clear its intention to become a designer. Alexander McQueen graduated in 1994 at the prestigious St. Martins College of Art & Design in London as part of the brightest British generation emerged from there with John Galliano and Stella McCartney.
In October 1996, McQueen won the award for best designer of the year.In 1997, which created four collections for Givenchy and two for his own label, McQueen shared the award for best British designer of the year with John Galliano.
His rise to power was a fairy tale in its own right and in 2003 was honored by Queen Elizabeth II with the title of Commander of the Order of the British Empire, he received from his own hands in Buckingham Palace. McQueen's style was characterized by brutality tempered with lirismo.McQueen presented their collections at Fashion Week in Paris and has stores in major cities worldwide. Sarah Burton, his right hand for twelve years, took over the design of its signature Alexander McQueen

Vivienne Westwood

Dame Vivienne Westwood put the punk in fashion in the 70s and 80s, having dressed the Sex Pistols with her then lover and business partner Malcolm McLaren. And today she presides over her very own fashion empire. She combines punk with politics in bold, statement making garments that reflect her mischievous, outspoken personality and strong political beliefs. She was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design at the British Fashion Awards in 2007 and remains one of the most influential designers on the British fashion scene.

GARETH PUGH

Gareth Pugh began his fashion studies in the city of Sunderland College and finished her studies in Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins in 2003.Pugh's solo premiere was in London's Fall 2006 fashion week; he has since showed his Spring 2007 and Autumn 2007 collections there. Pugh's shows have continued to draw critical praise. British Vogue, for instance, called his Spring 2007 collection "an incredible, unmissable show" and said that "his genius is undeniable. Anna Wintour is a notable supporter of Pugh's designs.

These are some of England's best known designers. Hopefully still see new faces with much charm and talent
